Explorers join us our Tinkergarten class and then extend the fun with art and more child-led nature play.  This is a weekly drop-off program for ages 3-8 years old.  Parents or caregivers are required to volunteer a few sessions throughout the year.

We run Tuesdays from 10-11am for Tinkergarten and then 11-3pm for our extended play program.  Classes begin the third week of September and run through the third week May for a total of 27 sessions.

Open to explorers ages 3-8. Must be 3 before the first session.  School-aged explorers must be registered as homeschool students with their county. Older explorers may come as assistants for half price. 

For preschool aged explorers, please note, this is not considered child-care and at least one parent or caregiver volunteer from the group will be scheduled to stay for each session.  Each caregiver will be expected to volunteer 2-4 times a year.  This is considered a "co-op." Outdoor preschools are currently not able to be licensed in the State of Maryland, but there's a pilot program currently underway to allow full-time outdoor childcare - hopefully within the next 4 years!
