Summer Camp
Description
​
Three sessions of travel camp for campers ages 5-12 years old. We will spend our days exploring local parks, playing with friends, creating nature art, splashing in the water, and discovering more about our natural surroundings. Parents will drop off campers at a different location each day. Locations to be announced, but will be within 10-40 minutes of Kent Island. Carpooling is encouraged and we will help facilitate. Each session will include unique adventures, so campers are welcome to register for both sessions.

Locations

Daily locations to be announced!
Parents will drop off and pick up campers at a local park where Wonder in the Wild staff will meet and run all programming for the day. First and last day of each session will be at the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center. Additional locations will be announced and may include: Adkins Arboretum, Annapolis Maritime Museum, Pickering Creek Audubon Center, Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, Smithsonian Environmental Research Center, etc. Each week will include 1 trip around 30-40 minutes from Kent Island, with all other locations being closer. Carpooling is encouraged.

$300/week
$550 for both weeks
Sibling discount - $25 off all siblings including first child
*Mini-camp is $180/camper, $15/sibling discount available. $715 for all 3 weeks

Older campers may come as assistants at half price
HS and college students needed as volunteers!

Payment Due and Cancellation
​
Deposit of $100 due with registration
Remaining balance due June 1
Cancellation Policy: If cancelling more than 6 weeks before camp, a full refund or credit for another program will be provided. 2-6 weeks, you will receive a credit, less the $100 registration fee. If less than 2 weeks, you will receive a 50% credit, less the registration fee. Last minute cancellations due to health concerns will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
