Outdoor Youth Clubs

Wonder in the Wild is excited to announce our new series of Outdoor Youth Clubs! These afternoon clubs are based at our second campus on a 100+ acre property in the Annapolis St. Margaret's area, Hollywood Farm (625 Holly Drive N, Annapolis). Here we have lots of room to explore in the woods, fields, and along the shores of the creek. Come explore, play, and grow with us this school year!

Clubs follow the AACPS calendar and programs are available throughout the school year.

Each class will include:

Time to play in our outdoor classroom, including opportunities to use tools to explore nature, build forts and obstacle courses, concoct feasts in the mud kitchen, create art, and discover more about what is happening around us in nature
Monday's Nature Art Club will also include invitations to create nature-inspired projects. Mediums such as nature journaling, sketching, clay, paint, mosaics, nature mandalas, and more will be explored.
Wednesday's Environmental Club will hike further into the woods and/or venture to the garden for guided environmental education activities
Friday's Outdoor Skills Club will practice outdoor skills such as composting, fire building and tending, cooking, shelter building, orienteering, and Leave No Trace ethics.

Mondays Aug 24 - December 21 (excluding AACPS days off) ---13 classes

Wednesdays Aug 26 - December 16 (excluding 12/23) --- 16 classes

Cost

School Year 2026-27

Mondays Fall program: $455 (13 classes)

Wednesdays Fall program: $560 (16 classes)

Fridays Fall program: $560 (16 classes)

Discount of $20 off per program for all siblings or registering for multiple programs. Siblings and multiple programs? Take $30 off per program. Discounts apply to all siblings including first child. Ex: sibling or multiple program discount for Monday's club would be $435/child. Siblings and multiple days would be $425 for Mondays and $530 for W or F.

Deposit of $100 due when registering. Remaining tuition will be invoiced and is due prior to classes starting. Monthly payments available upon request. Payments must be made by check or ACH transfer. Credit card payments incur an extra 3.5% fee.

Ages

Activities designed for all elementary-aged explorers ages 5+. Open to public, private, and homeschooled students.
